The palette is arranged for the use of accurate mixing of primary, secondary, and intermediate colors. Indicator guides on the palette aid in locating analagous, complementary, and triadic color relationships to ensure fresh, beautiful, harmonious color mixes - not mud!
There are 12 extra pans around the wheel for other favorite colors. Eight outside corner wells are available to place earth colors or opaque water media, gouache. The large inner wheel is provided for mixing.
