Cadmium Red Gouache - 15ml tube

This is a fine art gouache based on French formulas manufactured by M. Graham Company of Portland, Oregon. I have selected a 13-color spectrum palette of permanent lightfast colors including white. The paints are a gum Arabic base and are compatible with transparent watercolors. Honey is added to the paint to keep it moist so the paint will not crack and crumble in the palette, and is also a deterrent to mold that the gum Arabic binder of any water-based medium will attract. Although I squeeze my paint out fresh with each painting session, the color could be placed in a palette and stored. Most gouache brands are made for commercial art purposes as well as the fine artist.
